KJEL has been the News, Weather and Sports Information Leader since its inception over a quarter of a century ago. Our name says it all!  We are REGIONAL RADIO serving 38 counties in Southwest, South-central Missouri. 

We have six news Writers and Presenters who can go anywhere in a radius of 60 miles and broadcast live.  Local News is featured at the top of each hour and followed by ABC Network reports. Additionally we are members of the Missouri News Network, the National Weather Service Audio and Wire Network and the Missouri Highway Patrol Wire Network.  We have won several prestigious awards and have been recognized by the Missouri House of Representative and Senate.

Our Stations carry the popular broadcast for Paul Harvey, heard three times each day and the Missouri Department of Agriculture reports heard 3 times each day.

We are the only station in Lebanon originating local high school sports. We broadcast Boys Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Girls Volleyball and Boys Baseball.  We produce two weekly coaches programs, both live!  One broadcast is done in Lebanon and the other in Camdenton.  We feature weekly game broadcasts from all over our coverage area including Marshfield, Camdenton, Lebanon, Waynesville, Eldon, Springfield and Rolla to name a few. We are the home of St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.

Our Stations, because of our EXTENSIVE COVERAGE AREA, has been selected to be a STATE RELAY for the State of Missouri to warn other TV and Radio Stations of impending severe weather and emergency conditions. Those other stations are required to monitor our signal to get information.  This is required by the Federal Government. 

Our Transmitter and Studios are equipped with emergency power and backup transmitters so that we never go off the air due to technical problems.

We have been selected by the National Weather Service as an OFFICIAL United States Government Reporting Station.

We serve a potential listenership of 1.3 million residents in the Ozarks...all who could be your customers. Our target demo is 25-65 with an equal mix of male/female. Our live call-in shows result in calls being placed from Branson to Warsaw, Springfield to Sullivan.  We program Adult Country.
