Specify First Initiative:  Missouri Broadcast Association Foundation Scholarship/Internship Support Program.

Describe activities undertaken to fulfill that initiative:  Each station to publicize the Scholarship and internship programs, distribute brochures and applications, collect submitted applications, select applicant of internship program, submit letter of acceptance to MBA for approval, supervise the intern program for Spring of 2007, scholarship for Summer 2006.  Applications due for scholarship program March 27, 2006.  Internship program application due October 15, 2006.  Ads ran for scholarship 2/27/06 - 3/27/06. Ads ran for internship 9/20/06 - 10/15/06.

Specify Second Initiative: AHANA Minority Scholarship Program at the University of Missouri in Columbia

Describe activities undertaken to fulfill that initiative:  Funded $1600 scholarship for one minority applicant to the AHANA Scholarship/Workshop on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia.  Sent Derek Williams July 18, 2006 to teach, instruct, and answer questions during the 10 day event from our staff.
