SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL OUTREACH INITIATIVES

2/4 YEAR PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2006 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2007

Specify First Initiative:  Missouri Broadcast Association Foundation Scholarship Program.

Describe activities undertaken to fulfill that initiative:  Scholarship money or award available to selected applicants who is planning to attend a Missouri college or accredited trade school and enroll in a broadcast related field.  Our stations and the Missouri Broadcasters will be offering scholarship monies or award to chosen applicant.  We will publicize, choose an applicant and submit applicant to the MBA, where their judges will choose applicant or applicants from across the state.

Specify Second Initiative: Missouri Broadcast Association Foundation Internship Program.

Describe activities undertaken to fulfill that initiative:  Selected applicants to receive $250.00 for each credit hour, up to a maximum of $1,000.  We publicize the program, distribute brochures and applications, collect submitted applications, select the applicant and provide applicant a letter of acceptance to be submitted to the MBA Internship program committee.  Ads ran 9-20-07 through 10-15-07
