KKWK is one of the few stations in North Missouri to operate its own Color Weather Radar.  KKWK Weather Radar goes into action at any hour severe weather occurs in the 90 mile radius of Cameron.  KKWK Weather Radar "sees" storm activity within a 150 mile radius of North Missouri, keeping abreast of approaching storms. 

Regional Radio KKWK gives six major weather forecasts daily, explaining the what and why of the weather.  KKWK also reports special agricultural weather forecasts with detailed weather information helpful to farmers.  Weather information comes directly from the National Weather Service offices in Pleasant Hill, Des Moines, and St. Louis.
