We
are located in Cameron, but we are involved in the daily lives of our
listeners. They count on us for news, weather, sports, and farm
information. Whether it’s a County Fair, a high school sporting event, a
city council meeting, or whatever, people tune in to KKWK.
In fact, in 2000, we broadcast over 100 local high school and college
sporting events representing 20 high schools and one college, and over 15
county fairs and festivals in our 17 county coverage area. We have our own
color radar to detect severe storms that threaten the listeners of our
area.
The
staff of professionals covers the interests and concerns, shares the
joys and sorrows, talks with and listens to over 450,000 robust,
productive Missourians each day. Our listeners are also active
participants in over 10 audience participation shows each week. It’s
this type of listenership that hears your ads and buys your goods and
services. KKWK RADIO plays a very meaningful
part in our listeners’ daily lives.
KKWK is
the news and information voice for 450,000 people in over 100
communities in 17 Northwest Missouri
counties. KKWK is total broadcast service and
community involvement. KKWK is sports,
entertainment, facts, and fun for adults 25 to 65.
KKWK is
involved with the people of North Missouri. It is their local daily news
source as most are served only be weekly newspapers. Active involvement
makes KKWK as close to our listeners as their
neighbor across the street.
KKWK features
the midwest’s only Vocal Easy Music Mix featuring the most relaxing
sounds along with timeless easy listening favorites. KKWK is
also agri-news with the Brownfield Network and weather information from
the National Weather Service. KKWK and
Agriculture-they’re both mighty big in the 17
Counties of America’s Heartland!
As
agriculture is the backbone of Missouri’s economy, KKWK keeps
agri-business interests informed on market prices, trends, legislation,
weather, and events. We feature livestock and grain markets including over
a dozen local markets. When the “Big Boards” are trading, we give
instantaneous updates on commodity prices from the Chicago and Kansas City
Boards of Trade via our direct connection to their computers. As weather
is ever important to the farmer, we provide it through
our own weather radar instillation.
